Laurel Cumby- ITS President Hi everyone! My name is Laurel Cumby and I’m your current ITS President running for reelection. I’ve learned so much working as a leader for the troupe this year and I would love the opportunity to continue to do so! Throughout the year I have tried to repair some broken communication, through meeting everyone I can and offering support whenever possible. I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of you and I’m so grateful because the passion I see in the troupe makes me proud to be on the board. What I believed helped me most as president this year was my experiences as one of the troupe’s vice presidents last year. Troupe operations would not have run smoothly without it. For this reason, my main goal if reelected is to train the underclassmen. There were many things I was unsure of throughout the year, and I want to prevent that in future years, working side by side with the vice presidents to help ensure a successful future for the troupe. I especially want to improve anything that would benefit the troupe though, and ask that if you have any suggestions, you contact me! I have had an amazing experience working with all of you this year and would like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as your president, as well as ask that you vote for me, Laurel Cumby, so I can continue to serve and prepare the troupe for all future endeavors!
Katie Holsonbake- ITS President Hello, my name is Katie Holsonbake and I am running to be your 2017-2018 ITS president for the upcoming school year. Being an active member of this club since fall of freshmen year has allowed me to experience all the ups and downs that this club has gone through and it has now given me ideas on how to best improve this club. In addition to this, being a member in both sides of the club, cast and tech, I can assure you that I understand and sympathize for both parties as problems come up. I believe that I have a lot of good ideas and I would love to be a part of the board as to share my thoughts and beliefs on what I think would make the drama club a better environment for everyone. I have such a love for our department and truly believe that passionate volunteers are what makes our club as great as it is. Once again my name is Katie Holsonbake and I would love to count on your vote for your 2017-2018 ITS President. Thank you.
Lexi Twilley- ITS President I feel that I would be an ideal candidate for the ITS President Board position for the school year 2017-18. I am an active Drama Club Member and have been since my freshman year. Currently, I am a CAPPIES Critic and have a very strong work ethic as evident by my involvement with costuming, acting, and participating in community theatre projects. I am known for being reliable, hardworking, and getting tasks accomplished even if it is a last minute request. I believe in communicating and trying to keep others in the loop. Also I am a big advocate of the arts and encourage others to be active in the drama department and ITS.
Will Young- Vice President It was nearly one year ago that I was inducted into Troupe 984 of the International Thespian Society. I am proud to be a member and even more proud to be a part of Liberty Drama. I want to promote our strong and successful theatre program at our school and that is why I am hoping to be elected as 2nd Vice President of ITS. I truly believe in this program and want to do all that I can to keep it strong, grow its membership, and provide opportunities for the many members here at Liberty. I have been active in 4 full length productions at Liberty on stage and behind the scenes. I have every intention of being involved in all future theatre productions until I graduate. I am completely committed to the success of this program and the theatrical growth for not just myself, but for all drama students. It is my passion and enthusiasm for drama, along with my past show experiences which make me an excellent candidate for 2nd Vice President. Thank you for your consideration and your vote.
